Is Swiftline Funding a lender?
No. Swiftline Funding is a marketing and matching service. We don't make funding decisions or offers. When you apply, with your consent your application is sold to one funding company from our partner list, which reviews it and contacts you with options. That company pays us for the application.
What is a merchant cash advance?
A merchant cash advance (MCA) gives your business a lump sum of cash today in exchange for a portion of your future revenue. It is not a loan — it's the purchase of future receivables, repaid through fixed daily or weekly payments or a percentage of sales. Learn more in our complete MCA guide.
How much funding can my business get?
Offers range from $10K to $5M. The amount depends mainly on your average monthly revenue, time in business and existing obligations. A typical first advance is roughly 50–150% of one month's deposits.
How fast can I get funded?
Many businesses receive a decision the same day they submit a complete application and are funded within 24 hours to a few business days after approval.
What credit score do I need?
There is no minimum credit score — all credit scores are considered. Merchant cash advances are based on your business revenue, so your credit score is not what decides your approval. See bad credit business funding.
What documents do I need to apply?
A completed application and your last 4 months of business bank statements (all pages). Additional documents, such as a driver's license or voided check, may be requested before funding.
Does applying affect my credit score?
Submitting the application form does not run a credit check by itself. The funding provider reviewing your application may check your credit during underwriting — ask them whether it will be a soft or hard inquiry.
How much does a merchant cash advance cost?
MCAs are priced with a factor rate, typically between 1.1 and 1.5. For example, a $20,000 advance at a 1.3 factor rate means a total payback of $26,000. Try our MCA calculator.
Do I need collateral?
No specific collateral like real estate or equipment is required. Most agreements include a UCC filing on business receivables and a personal guarantee of performance, which should be explained to you before you sign.
What can I use the money for?
Any legitimate business purpose: payroll, inventory, equipment, repairs, marketing, expansion, taxes or covering a cash flow gap.
Why do you need my SSN and bank statements?
Funding providers are required to verify the identity of business owners and to review business revenue before making an offer. Your information is transmitted over an encrypted connection, stored securely and shared only with our funding partner, which reviews your application. See our Privacy Policy.
